《Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science Edition)》本刊是国家教育部主客的材料科学类学术类英文版。主要刊载有关材料科学包括无机非金属材料、有机高分子材料、金属材料的最新科研成果的学术论文及该领域研究的新进展、新工艺等具有重要学术价值和实用价值的论文。

《Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science Edition)》1996起至今为中国大陆三家以高校命名进入SCI的学报之一,且论文近100%被SCI和EI收录。自1996年起进入EI、CA千名表,并进入CBST、ΡЖ。本刊1999年受到中国科协和国家自然科学基金联合颁发的重点扶持性资助,被中国科技论文统计源期刊,中国科学引文数据库来源期刊,中国学术期刊综合评价数据库来源期刊,中国期刊网和万方数据网源刊等收录。
